A gentle settling-in period

Starting nursery is a big moment for children and for families. We plan a gradual settling-in period over the first weeks: short first visits, with parents present if needed, that grow step by step as your child gains confidence. There is no rush: we follow each child’s emotional pace, and for babies we plan to mirror their home routines for sleep and feeding. The goal is a real bond of trust with our team, so Happy Hoppers truly becomes their second home.

How admission will work

Our planned process, step by step (details to be confirmed before we open):

• 1. Book a visit: come and see the space and meet the team.
• 2. Chat about your child: their needs, routines and story so far.
• 3. Reserve a place: we complete the enrolment and any medical or dietary details together.
• 4. Welcome plan: we agree the settling-in dates before the big first day.
